From 1985 to 1987 he worked as a Structural Engineer for one of the most prestigious Engineering Companies in US, Weidlinge Associates Consulting Engineers, New York. During this period he was involved with a variety of projects including the structural design of the American Embassy Damasco (Syria) and Nicosia (Cyprus), the structural strengthening of the Goldman Sachs steel building in New York and the design of the structural steelwork of a high-rise buildings development in Englewood Cliff (New Jersey).

From 1987 he is an independent designer in Italy his expertise ranging from pure design, to site supervision and structural commissioning. He has been designer and site supervisor for works whose overall cost exceeds 1 billion Euros. He has also been in charge of technical and administrative commissioning on behalf of several bodies, including, Ente Autonomo Mostra di Oltremare,Centro Italiano Ricerche Aerospaziali and ENEL.

Since 2001 he has been lecturing at the University of Naples Federico II as Professor of “Experimentation, testing and control of Structures’” and “Structures’ Technical Design”.
